Claude Gift: How to Send
Gifting vs buying for yourself is one step: use their email.
Gifting is one step: put the recipient's email as the receiving address. Anthropic emails them the link, they bind their own account — neither side hands over a password.
How to send
In the configurator, set the receiving email to the recipient's address (not yours) and pay. Anthropic emails the activation link straight to them, and they click it to bind their own account — you never need their password, and they never need yours.
Gifting reminders
- Double-check the recipient's email — it can't be changed after ordering, so confirm it with them first.
- If they already subscribe to Claude via Apple / Google, wait until it expires to avoid conflicts.

What the recipient should watch for
Tell the recipient to open the link in the official email and bind it to their own Claude account; if they already have an App Store / Google subscription, activate after it expires; the link is valid for 365 days from payment.
